“We had the absolute pleasure of having Ollie as our celebrant at our wedding at Mt Vernon Lodge in Akaroa. From the initial meet up at Ollie's lovely home to the final big day - Ollie has made us feel relaxed and comfortable throughout the whole process.
As well as doing an incredible job at her role, Ollie went out of her way to send us possible ideas for aisle songs, vows and helpful tips for the ceremony itself. To help us acknowledge the passing of my husbands father figures, she researched and sent us a few options for poems and quotes that we could use too. This felt like a really beautiful touch. She worked with us to curate a ceremony script that was a mix of heartfelt, light-hearted humour and not too cheesy which felt very much like us.
She came equiped with her own speaker/microphone meaning we had one less thing to think of for the ceremony. The way she delivered the ceremony felt very relaxed while keeping the crowd engaged with the odd amusing line. The night before the wedding we had a small setback and she was up till the early hours phoning around to help resolve the issue despite it having nothing to do with her!
We were incredibly grateful. A massive thank you once again for helping to make our special day so perfect. Ollie made everything so simple and calm and was the perfect addition to our magical day! Again, thank you for going above and beyond with everything. We're so grateful! Thank you, thank you - 10/10 job x”
